Hand Carved Oak ply piano stand, Carved oak stool, black poplin, vintage rug fringe, fabric paint, custom cabinet for a Marshall 50wt, red LED, plexiglass, black wax, Candlebrum carved in clay and then cast in pewter, epoxy clay thuribles, black frankincense, chains As a way to come to terms with the past and seek forgiveness, I created this ritual that involves the use of an organ. The haunting sound combined with the flickering of the candlelight to create a somber and reflective atmosphere. As I confess my unforgivable sins, the scent of incense from the thuribles fills the air, adding to the visceral depth of the ceremony. Grounded on a hand sewn rug, the fabric absorbs the melting wax and energy of the ritual. After confession, I join in a chant or prayer, expressing my desire to make amends and seek redemption. This ritual is a futile one though, for I know the abyss awaits.
