Inventions of Radical Change

22" H × 7" D × 12" W

Oriented Strand Board, an Old Barn Handle, an Orange Micro Tube Amp, fitted shelf to store pedals, BOSS reverb pedal, power inverter, an old motorcycle battery, eight inch speaker, Alchemical images of putrefaction inlayed into the wood, a series of input cables, and backpack straps.

This backpack was created from various spare parts for the purpose of radical spontaneous performance. Untethered from the electric grid it allows the wearer to play and move freely throughout the environment.

Holding the pack close to your body results in powerful waves of reverberation that can be felt by the wearer and nearby audience members. A retractable shelf was installed in the bottom portion of the pack to allow the interchanging of effects pedals, a BOSS reverb pedal was used in the documented performance.
